about me
Hi, I’m Gabriel Cabrera, founder of Cabrera Camera! Starting out as a street photographer, I quickly learned how to bring out the magic in the otherwise seemingly mundane. I now look forward to bringing the same creativity, heart, and drama to your products!
my client process
Before setting packages, I like to send my clients a creative brief survey catered to their field to garner information on how you want your business or photos to be represent narratively, stylistically, and tonally.
After that, I can assemble a creative plan which will include a mood board and cohesive strategy depicting what the shoot will look like and how we will achieve what you are looking for.
My goal isn’t to just shoot photos and then send them to you - but to involve you as a collaborator and find a way to blend a vision together that leaves an impact on the eyes of the beholder.
experience
I have collaborated with large businesses internationally and domestically, delivering photos at a commercial-quality level for 4 years under Three Pill Productions, using my creative eye developed as a street photographer.
I have also worked with local and upcoming brands/artists on a more stylistically audacious level, creating work for you that stands out among your competition.
Additionally, I have produced numerous short films in Durham, Ontario for filmmakers under my production company “Project Doorham” where I’ve been grateful to collaborate and learn from many talented individuals."
